Cute Dachshund Homes – Puppy Adoption Agreement

Health Commitment

At Cute Dachshund Homes, we are committed to providing Dachshund puppies that have received age-appropriate veterinary care before joining their new families. Each puppy is raised in a caring environment and receives attention to support healthy early development.

Veterinary Examination

We recommend that every puppy be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of arrival. This initial examination helps establish your puppy’s ongoing healthcare plan and allows your veterinarian to assess your puppy’s overall health.

If your veterinarian identifies a significant health concern that appears to have existed prior to the puppy leaving our care, please contact us immediately. We will review the veterinary findings together and discuss an appropriate resolution in accordance with the terms of this agreement.

Health Documentation

When available, your puppy will be accompanied by:

  • Age-appropriate vaccination records

  • Deworming history

  • Veterinary examination records (if applicable)

  • Any available registration or pedigree documentation (where applicable)

Genetic Health Information

Responsible breeding practices help reduce the likelihood of inherited health conditions; however, no breeder can guarantee that a puppy will never develop a hereditary or medical condition.

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a hereditary condition shortly after adoption that substantially affects your puppy’s quality of life, please notify us promptly. We are committed to reviewing the documentation in good faith and discussing available options as outlined in your written adoption agreement.

Transportation & Pickup

Personal Pickup

Families who choose to collect their puppy in person may schedule a pickup appointment once the adoption process has been completed.

If a reservation deposit is required, the amount and payment terms will be clearly communicated before the reservation is confirmed.

Transportation Assistance

Transportation may be available depending on your location.

Where transportation is arranged, travel details, estimated arrival information, and applicable transportation costs will be provided before final confirmation. We work with transportation providers that prioritize the safety and welfare of animals during travel.

Adoption Fee & Payment

The adoption fee, along with any applicable transportation charges, will be discussed and confirmed before finalizing your reservation.

Any reservation deposit, where applicable, will be explained in writing, including whether it is refundable or non-refundable and under what circumstances.

The remaining balance, if any, must be completed according to the agreed payment schedule before pickup or transportation.

Buyer’s Responsibilities

By adopting a puppy from Cute Dachshund Homes, you agree to:

  • Provide a safe, loving, and permanent home.

  • Supply appropriate food, clean drinking water, and comfortable shelter.

  • Arrange regular veterinary care, vaccinations, and preventive healthcare.

  • Provide exercise, training, and socialization appropriate for a Dachshund.

  • Follow all applicable local laws and regulations relating to pet ownership.

  • Contact us if you have questions regarding your puppy’s transition or early care.

Entire Agreement

This adoption agreement represents the understanding between Cute Dachshund Homes and the adopting family regarding the placement of the puppy.

Any modifications or additional terms must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
